As a Malaysian contemporary artist, Dura Ki Hana conceived Honey Salone as a new way of experiencing honey through observation, conversation and sensory ritual.
Rooted in her artistic practice, Honey Salone brings together art, hospitality and storytelling to transform a simple tasting into an experience of curiosity and shared discovery. From the visual language to the atmosphere around the table, every detail is thoughtfully designed to invite people to slow down, notice more and leave seeing honey differently.
"Honey Salone was never meant to be a tasting. I sometimes think of it as what might happen if an art exhibition, a chef's table and a perfume atelier had a child. Instead of talking about paintings, wine or fragrance, it explored the world through Malaysian wild honey. Honey simply became the language we chose to speak."

For over a decade, Nirwana Tuan Sariff has dedicated her career to Malaysian wild honey. Long before becoming a certified honey sommelier, she was learning alongside Malaysian honey hunters in the rainforest. Years spent visiting remote harvest sites, witnessing the harvest firsthand and working closely with the people who harvest Malaysia's wild honey have shaped an understanding that extends far beyond sensory analysis alone. Today, she brings that lived experience together with formal sensory expertise, guiding guests through the extraordinary terroir, biodiversity, seasonality and complexity of Malaysian wild honey.
